The representatives of the QuantERA Consortium and the Strategic Advisory Board met on Thursday, 1st of December 2016 to launch one of the biggest ERA-NET Programmes with a budget of over EUR 37 million that will support international research in the field of quantum technology. QuantERA is a network of 31 organisations from 26 countries, coordinated by the National Science Centre, Poland. The Commission is investing roughly €11.5 million in this €40.5 million initiative. This is a first step before the launch of the QT Flagship. The national programmes and transnational activities of Member States, which support research and technology transfer, can cover the gap until the actual start of the QT Flagship. Unfortunately, Croatia is not a partner of QuantERA and it can not participate in the QuantERA calls. The list of QuantERA partners can be found here.
